(1) This Order may be cited as the Amusements with Prizes (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 27th January 1997.
(2) This Order shall not extend to Scotland.

In section 16(3) of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976 (conditions on which the provision of amusements is permitted in certain commercial entertainments) paragraph (c) shall have effect as if, for the sum specified in that paragraph, there were substituted the sum of £5.
In article 2 of the Amusements with Prizes (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 1984 —
for the words “Paragraphs (a) and (c)” there shall be substituted the words “Paragraph (a)”;
in paragraph (a) the words “in paragraph (a),” shall be omitted; and
paragraph (c) shall be omitted.
