Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 31st December 1996.

Section 2

(1) Regulation 11 of the Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) Regulations 1994 shall be amended as follows.

(2) In paragraphs (1) and (2) for “1st January 1997” in both places where those words occur, there shall be substituted “1st July 1997”.
