Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Trunk Road (A4) (Great West Road, Hounslow) (Restriction of Traffic) Order 1984 (Variation) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 15th January 1996.

Section 2

(1) The Trunk Road (A4) (Great West Road, Hounslow) (Restriction of Traffic) Order 1984 , shall be varied as follows:

(2) In article 2, for the definition of “the cycle tracks” there shall be substituted—

“the cycle tracks” means the ways provided for the passage of pedal cycles within Great West Road on both its sides between its junction with the western side of Chiswick roundabout and its junction with Bath Road (A3006/A4), each of such ways being marked at both ends and at intervals throughout their length with traffic signs conforming to diagram 955 in Schedule 5 to the Traffic Signs Regulations 1994 .
