The Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1993 (Commencement) Order 1996
Section 2Appointed Day
The repeal by section 1 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1993 of—
(a) the Shipbuilding (Redundancy Payments) Act 1978 ; and
(b) section 1 of the Shipbuilding Act 1985 ,
shall come into force on 1st April 1996.
