Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Scottish Examination Board (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 1st April 1996.

Section 2Amendment of the Scottish Examination Board Regulations 1981

Paragraph (2) of regulation 6 (membership) of the Scottish Examination Board Regulations 1981 shall be amended by substituting for the words “Directors of education” the words “Persons employed by education authorities in an administrative capacity as respects the discharge of their education function”.
