Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (Authorities for the Ashworth, Broadmoor and Rampton Hospitals) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 15th April 1996.

Section 2Designation as bodies subject to investigation
The Ashworth Hospital Authority, the Broadmoor Hospital Authority and the Rampton Hospital Authority are hereby designated as authorities to which section 2 of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993 (health service bodies subject to investigation) applies.
Section 3Revocation of the Health Service Commissioner for England (Special Hospitals Service Authority) Order 1990
The Health Service Commissioner for England (Special Hospitals Service Authority) Order 1990 is revoked.
