Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Housing Support Grant (Scotland) Variation Order 1996 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Section 2 Variation of Housing Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1995

In the Housing Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1995 —

(a) in article 2 (aggregate amount of housing support grants for 1995-96) for “£22,300,701” there shall be substituted “£21,960,220”;

(b) in article 3(2) (general portion) for “£19,657,652” there shall be substituted “£19,330,435”; and

(c) in article 3(3) (hostel portion) for “£2,643,049” there shall be substituted “£2,629,785”.
