Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Central Manchester Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 1st April 1996.

Section 2Urban development area

(1) Articles 2 and 3 of the Central Manchester Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 1988 are hereby revoked.

(2) So much of the Central Manchester Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 1988 as has not previously been revoked shall be revoked with effect from 1st July 1996.
