Section 1 Citation and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government Finance Act 1992 (Commencement No.10) Order 1996.

(2) In this Order, “ the Act ” means the Local Government Finance Act 1992.

Section 2 Commencement of provisions

The following provisions of the Act shall come into force on 1st April 1996:—

(a) paragraph 39 of Schedule 13; and

(b) in Schedule 14, the repeals of—

(i) section 111(1)(a), (b) and (d) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 ; and

(ii) section 9(6) of the Water (Scotland) Act 1980 .
