The Combined Probation Areas (Nottinghamshire) Order 1996

Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Combined Probation Areas (Nottinghamshire) Order 1996.

(2) This Order shall come into force on 1st April 1996 save that, for the purpose of making appointments to the probation committee for the Nottinghamshire Probation Area to take effect on that date, this Order shall come into force forthwith.

Section 2

That part of Schedule 2 to the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 which relates to the Nottinghamshire Probation Area shall be amended by substituting in column 3—

(a) “2” for “4” in the entry relating to the petty sessions area of Mansfield;

(b) “1” for “3” in the entry relating to the petty sessions area of Newark and Southwell; and

(c) “6” for “12” in the entry relating to the petty sessions area of Nottingham.
