Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1996, and shall come into force on 6th April 1996.

Section 2 Amendment of Establishment Order

In Article 3 of the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1991 (functions of the trust)—

(a) in paragraph (1) for “section 5(1)(a)” there shall be substituted “section 5(1)(b)”; and

(b) for paragraph (2) there shall be substituted the following new paragraph:—

(2) The trust’s functions shall be to provide and manage hospital services at either or both of the following hospitals—

(a) Walton Hospital, Rice Lane, Liverpool L9 1AE, and

(b) Longmore Lane, Fazakerley, Liverpool L9 7AL,

and at any other hospital which is associated with either of the above hospitals.
