Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Essex Rivers Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1996, and shall come into force on 6th April 1996.

Section 2 Amendment of Establishment Order

In Article 3 of the Essex Rivers Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1991 (functions of the trust)—

(a) in paragraph (1) for “section 5(1)(a)” there shall be substituted “section 5(1)(b)”;

(b) in sub-paragraph (a) of paragraph (2) for “own and manage” there shall be substituted “provide and manage”; and

(c) in sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph (2) for “to own” there shall be substituted “to provide”.
