Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Licensed Betting Offices (Amendment) Regulations 1997 and shall come into force 28 days after the day on which they are made.

(2) These Regulations do not extend to Scotland.

Section 2 Amendment of Principal Regulations

In regulation 4(b) of the Licensed Betting Offices Regulations 1986 —

(a) the words “otherwise than in a material form” shall be inserted after the word “office”; and

(b) for the words “(ii) and (iii)” there shall be substituted “and (ii)”.
