Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Plant Health (Great Britain) (Amendment) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 1st May 1997.

Section 2 Amendment of the Plant Health (Great Britain) Order 1993

(1) The Plant Health (Great Britain) Order 1993 shall be amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3) below.

(2) In Schedule 3, Part A, item 12, there shall be inserted in the second column after the words “third countries other than” the word “Algeria,”.

(3) In Schedule 16 there shall be inserted at the end the following—
