Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the South and West Devon Health Authority (Transfers of Trust Property) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 29th April 1997.

(2) In this Order—

“the Authority” means the South and West Devon Health Authority;

“the Schedule” means the Schedule to this Order;

“the trust property” means, in the case of each NHS trust specified in column (1) of the Schedule, the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared, agreed upon and signed on behalf of the Authority and that NHS trust on the date specified in column (2) of the Schedule in relation to that NHS trust.

Section 2 Transfer of trust property

On 29th April 1997 the trust property which is trust property in relation to an NHS trust specified in the Schedule shall be transferred from the Authority to that NHS trust.
