Section 1
These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Type Approval for Goods Vehicles) (Great Britain) (Amendment) Regulations 1997 and shall come into force on 30th June 1997.

Section 2
(1) The Motor Vehicles (Type Approval for Goods Vehicles) (Great Britain) (Amendment) ( No. 2) Regulations 1996 shall be amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 7, for the words “1st July 1997” in the new regulation 18A(2) (obligatory certificates) to be inserted into the Motor Vehicles (Type Approval for Goods Vehicles) (Great Britain) Regulations 1982 , there shall be substituted “1st January 1998”.
