Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Northern Ireland (Emergency Provisions) Act 1996 (Amendment) Order 1997, and shall come into force on 4th June 1997.

Section 2

The following organisations, that is to say—
“The Loyalist Volunteer Force” and
“The Continuity Army Council”
are hereby added to Schedule 2 to the Northern Ireland (Emergency Provisions) Act 1996 (which specifies organisations which are proscribed organisations for the purposes of that Act).
