Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Exemption) (Dacorum Borough Council) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 4th July 1997.

Section 2Exemption of repair and maintenance of vehicles

The repair and maintenance of vehicles by the council of the borough of Dacorum shall not be treated as a defined activity so long as it is carried out during the period beginning with 6th July 1997 and ending with 5th January 1998.
