Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Official Log Books for Merchant Ships and Fishing Vessels) (Amendment) Regulations 1997 and shall come into force on 11th July 1997.

Section 2

In the Schedule to the Merchant Shipping (Official Log Books) Regulations 1981 , paragraphs 17, 19 and 33 shall be omitted.

Section 3

In the Schedule to the Merchant Shipping (Official Log Books) (Fishing Vessels) Regulations 1981 , paragraph 27 shall be omitted.
