Section 1

This Scheme may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Compensation to Seamen—War Damage to Effects) (Revocation) Scheme 1997 and shall come into force on 1st August 1997.

Section 2

The Merchant Shipping (Compensation to Seamen—War Damage to Effects) Scheme 1982 is hereby revoked.
