Section 1Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Direct Service Organisations) (Accounts etc.) (Extension) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 14th August 1997.

(2) In this Order, “the principal Order ” means the Local Government Act 1988 (Direct Service Organisations) (Accounts etc.) (Extension) (Wales) Order 1997 .

Section 2Amendment to the principal Order

In article 3 of the principal Order (application of Part I of the Local Government Act 1988 during transitional period), for “30th September 1997” substitute “31st May 1999”.
