Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Extradition (Designated Commonwealth Countries) Order 1991 (Amendment) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 1st September 1997.

Section 2
The Extradition (Designated Commonwealth Countries) Order 1991 shall be amended by the deletion of the word “Malta” in Schedule 1 to that Order which lists countries designated for the purposes of section 1(2) of the Extradition Act 1989.
