Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Exemption) (Christchurch Borough Council) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 2nd September 1997.

Section 2Exemption of information technology services

The provision of information technology services by the council of the borough of Christchurch shall not be treated as a defined activity so long as it is carried out by Dorset County Council between 1st April 1998 and 30th September 1998.
