Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Transport and Works (Guided Transport Modes) (Amendment) Order 1997, and shall come into force on the seventh day after the day on which it is made.

Section 2Citation and commencement

Article 3(2) of the Transport and Works (Guided Transport Modes) Order 1992 shall be amended:
(a) by substituting the words “for the carriage of passengers or goods” for the words “wholly or mainly for the carriage of passengers”; and
(b) by inserting before the word “and” the words “, “goods” has the same meaning as in Part I of the Railways Act 1993 ”.
