Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (Constitution and Administration) Amendment Order 1997 and shall come into force on 1st September 1997.

Section 2Amendment of the National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (Constitution and Administration) Order 1993
In the National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (Constitution and Administration) Order 1993 in article 12 (functions of the Board)—
(a) in paragraph (1), for the words “functions specified in paragraphs (2) and (3)” there shall be substituted the words “function specified in paragraph (2)”; and
(b) paragraph (3) shall be omitted.
Section 3Revocation of the National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (Constitution and Administration) Amendment Order 1994
The National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (Constitution and Administration) Amendment Order 1994 is hereby revoked.
