Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Publication of Performance Information) (Scotland) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 1st January 1998.

(2) This Order extends to Scotland only.

Section 2Publication of Performance Information

The period specified in paragraph (b) of section 1(2) of the Local Government Act 1992 is hereby varied by substituting, in that paragraph, the word “six” for the word “nine”.
