Section 1Title and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Fresh Meat (Hygiene and Inspection) (Amendment) Regulations 1997 and shall come into force on 21st September 1997.

Section 2Amendment to the Fresh Meat (Hygiene and Inspection) Regulations 1995

(1) The Fresh Meat (Hygiene and Inspection) Regulations 1995 shall be amended in accordance with paragraph (2) below.
(2) In regulation 7—
(a) paragraphs (1)(b) and (3) shall be revoked; and
(b) in paragraphs (8) and (9), for the words “paragraph (1)(b) or (c)” there shall be substituted the words “paragraph (1)(c)”.
