Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Goods and Services) (Public Bodies) (No. 2) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 30th September 1997.

Section 2Designation of bodies

Each of the following bodies, being a person appearing to the Secretary of State to be exercising functions of a public nature, shall be a public body for the purposes of the Local Authorities (Goods and Services) Act 1970 in its application to England and Wales—
Bedford Bereavement Care Limited
Wansbeck Energy Company Limited.
