Section 1Title and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 24th October 1997.

Section 2Amendment of the Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (No. 2) Order 1996
(1) The Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (No. 2) Order 1996 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this article.
(2) In article 10(3)(a), for the words “a veterinary inspector” there shall be substituted the words “an inspector of the Minister or a veterinary inspector”.
(3) In Form F in the Schedule to the Order for the words “a veterinary inspector” there shall be substituted the words “a veterinary inspector/inspector”.
(4) In Form G in the Schedule to the Order:—
(a) for the words “a veterinary inspector” there shall be substituted the words “a veterinary inspector/inspector”; and
(b) for the words “Form E” there shall be substituted the words “Form F”.
