Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Amendment Regulations 1997 and shall come into force on 10th November 1997.

Section 2Amendment of regulation 1 of the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Regulations 1997
In regulation 1(2) of the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Regulations 1997 (interpretation), in the definition of “ NHS sight test fee”—
(a) in paragraph (a), for “£37.83” there shall be substituted “£39.04”; and
(b) in paragraph (b), for “£13.71” there shall be substituted “£14.10”.
