The Licensing (Fees) (Variation) Order 1997

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Licensing (Fees) (Variation) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 1st January 1998.

Section 2

(1) The Schedule to the Licensing (Fees) Order 1978 shall be varied by substituting—

(a) for “£12.50”, in each place where it occurs, “£30.00”;

(b) for“£10.00”, in each place where it occurs, “£25.00”;

(c) for “£6.50”, in each place where it occurs, “£16.00”;

(d) for “£4.00”, in each place where it occurs, “£10.00”; and

(e) for “£2.00”, in each place where it occurs, “£5.00”.

(2) In the Schedule to the Licensing (Fees) Order 1978, the entry “grant or renewal of a certificate of suitability — s. 79”, together with its fee, shall be omitted.

Section 3

Article 2 of the Licensing (Fees) Order 1983 shall be varied by substituting for “£4.00”, in each place where it occurs, “£10.00”.

Section 4

The Licensing (Fees) (Variation) Order 1980 is hereby revoked.
