The Combined Probation Areas (Bedfordshire) Order 1997

Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Combined Probation Areas (Bedfordshire) Order 1997.

(2) This Order shall come into force on 30th November 1997 save that for the purpose of making appointments to the probation committee for the Bedfordshire Probation Area to take effect on that date, this Order shall come into force forthwith.

Section 2

For that part of Schedule 2 to the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 that relates to the Bedfordshire Probation Area there should be substituted the following:

Ampthill

Bedford

Biggleswade

Dunstable

Leighton Buzzard

Luton

Section 3

The probation committee for Bedfordshire shall co-opt one member of Bedfordshire County Council and one member of Luton Borough Council, being the responsible authorities for the area .
