Section 1Citation

This Order may be cited as the Education (Schools) Act 1997 (Commencement) Order 1997.

Section 2Commencement of provisions

The following provisions of the Education (Schools) Act 1997 shall come into force on 1st December 1997:–

section 5(2),

section 6(3) so far as relating to Part II of the Schedule, and

Part II of the Schedule.
