Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Education (Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 1st June 1997.

Section 2

Miss Susan Lewis is hereby appointed Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales for a period of five years commencing on 1st June 1997.

Section 3

The Education (Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales) Order 1996 is hereby revoked.
