Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government Property Commission (Scotland) (Winding Up) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 30th September 1998.

Section 2Winding up of Property Commission

The Local Government Property Commission (Scotland), established by the Local Government Property Commission (Scotland) Order 1995 , are hereby wound up and their assets transferred to the Secretary of State.

Section 3Revocations

The following Orders are hereby revoked:—
(a) the Local Authorities (Property Transfer) (Scotland) Order 1995 ;
(b) the Local Government Property Commission (Scotland) Order 1995; and
(c) the Local Authorities (Property Transfer) (Scotland) Amendment Order 1996
