Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) (No. 6) Regulations 1997 and shall come into force on 31st December 1997.

Section 2 Amendment of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986

(1) The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986 shall be further amended as follows.

(2) In paragraphs (10) and (10B)(c) of regulation 61 (emissions) for “1st January 1998” in both places where those words occur there shall be substituted “1st May 1998”.
