Section 1 Citation and Commencement

This Order may be cited as the Invergarry-Kyle of Lochalsh Trunk Road (A87) Extension (Skye Bridge Crossing) Toll Order (Variation) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 1st January 1998.

Section 2 Variation

(1) Schedule 1 to the Invergarry-Kyle of Lochalsh Trunk Road (A87) Extension (Skye Bridge Crossing) Toll Order 1992 shall be varied as follows.

(3) For the definition of “Discount” substitute the following:–

“Discount” applies in respect of a single use of the crossing where an agreement entered into by virtue of section 36(3)(b) of the Act (compounding in advance for the payment of tolls) provides for the purchase of a book of–

20 non-transferable tickets in the case of a motorcycle or car; and

10 non-transferable tickets in all other cases.
