Section 1

(1) This Scheme may be cited as the Injuries in War (Shore Employments) Compensation (Amendment) Scheme 1997.

(2) The Injuries in War (Shore Employments) Compensation Schemes 1914 to 1996 and this Scheme may be cited together as the Injuries in War (Shore Employments) Compensation Schemes 1914 to 1997.

Section 2

In paragraph (3) of the Injuries in War (Shore Employments) Compensation Scheme 1914 , for “£105”, wherever it appears, there shall be substituted “£107.20”.

Section 3

This Scheme shall have effect as from 7th April 1997, so, however, that no payment shall be made under it in respect of any period before that date.
