Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government Staff Commission (Scotland) (Winding Up) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 1st April 1997.

Section 2Winding up of Staff Commission

The Local Government Staff Commission (Scotland), established by the Local Government Staff Commission (Scotland) Order 1994 , are hereby wound up and their assets transferred to the Secretary of State.

Section 3Revocation

The Local Government Staff Commission (Scotland) Order 1994 is hereby revoked.
