Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) (Amendment) Regulations 1997 and shall come into force on 14th April 1997.

Section 2

(1) Regulation 1 of the Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) Regulations 1994 shall be amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph (3) for “1st June 1997” there shall be substituted “1st January 1998”.
