Section 1Citation and commencement

This Scheme may be cited as the Workmen’s Compensation (Supplementation) (Amendment) (No. 2) Scheme 1997 and shall come into force on 7th April 1997.

Section 2Amendment of the Workmen’s Compensation (Supplementation) Scheme 1982

For Article 18 of the Workmen’s Compensation (Supplementation) Scheme 1982 (sums not payable when delay in claiming) there shall be substituted the following Article—

(18) An allowance shall not be payable to any person in respect of any period more than three months before the claim for the allowance is made.
