The Deregulation (Gaming on Sunday in Scotland) Order 1997

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Deregulation (Gaming on Sunday in Scotland) Order 1997 and shall come into force one month after the date on which it is made.

Section 2

(1) In section 18 of the Gaming Act 1968 (gaming on Sundays)–

(a) in subsection (1), the words “In England and Wales”; and

(b) subsection (2),

are hereby repealed.

(2) Section 1(3) of the Gaming (Amendment) Act 1987 (which is spent in consequence of paragraph (1) above) is hereby repealed.
