Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Free Zone (Port of Sheerness) (Substitution of Responsible Authority) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 1st April 1997.

Section 2
The responsible authority for the area designated a free zone by article 2(1) of the Free Zone (Port of Sheerness) Designation Order 1994 shall, in substitution for the Medway Ports Limited who were appointed by article 3 of that Order, be Port of Sheerness Limited, whose Registered Office is at Maritime Centre, Port of Liverpool, Liverpool L21 1LA.
