Section 1Citation, commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Type Approval) (Great Britain) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 30th April 1998.

Section 2Amendment of the Motor Vehicles (Type Approval) (Great Britain) Regulations 1984

(1) The Motor Vehicles (Type Approval) (Great Britain) Regulations 1984 shall be amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 13A(2) (obligatory certificates) for the words following sub-paragraph (b) there shall be substituted “is 1st July 1998”.
