Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Public Entertainments Licences (Drug Misuse) Act 1997 (Commencement and Transitional Provisions) Order 1998.

Section 2

Sections 1 to 3 of the Public Entertainments Licences (Drug Misuse) Act 1997 shall come into force on 1st May 1998 subject to the transitional provision in article 3 below.

Section 3

Section 1(5) and section 2(5) shall not apply in respect of any offence committed before 1st May 1998.
