Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Magistrates' Courts Committees (Merseyside) Amalgamation (Amendment) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 1st June 1998.

Section 2

In paragraph 1 of the Schedule to the Magistrates' Courts Committees (Merseyside) Amalgamation Order 1998 :—

(a) in the fefinition of “the first appointed day”, for “June” there shall be substituted “July”;

(b) in the definition of “the second appointed day”, for “July” there shall be substiuted “August”.
