Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Enforcement of Road Traffic Debts (Certificated Bailiffs) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 1st July 1998.

Section 2 Amendment to the Enforcement of Road Traffic Debts (Certificated Bailiffs) Regulations 1993

Schedule 1 to the Enforcement of Road Traffic Debts (Certificated Bailiffs) Regulations 1993 shall be amended as follows—

(a) in paragraph 2—

(i) for “£20.00”, substitute “£25.00”;

(ii) for “20%”, substitute “25%”;

(b) in paragraph 4—

(i) for “£4.50”, substitute “£5.00”; and

(ii) for “45p”, substitute “50p”.
