Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Bradford Community Health National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1998 and shall come into force on 6th July 1998.

Section 2 Amendment of Establishment Order

For Article 3 of the Bradford Community Health National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1991 there shall be substituted the following Article:—

Nature and functions of the trust

(3) The trust’s functions (which include functions which the Secretary of State considers appropriate in relation to the provision of services by the trust for one or more Health Authorities) shall be—

(a) to own and manage pursuant to section 5(1)(a) of the Act Leeds Road Hospital, Maudsley Street, Bradford BD3 9LH and associated premises, and from there to provide and manage community health services; and

(b) to provide and manage pursuant to section 5(1)(b) of the Act Horton Park Avenue Centre, Horton Park Avenue, Bradford and from there to provide and manage community health services.
