Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government Reorganisation (Wales) (Repeal of Enactments) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 27th July 1998.

Section 2Repeal of local statutory provisions

The local statutory provisions referred to in the Schedule to this Order are repealed to the extent indicated in that Schedule with effect from 27th July 1998.
