The Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Amendment Order 1998

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Amendment Order 1998 and shall come into force on 1st August 1998.

Section 2

In this Order, “the 1985 Order ” means the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Order 1985 .

Section 3

Part I of Schedule 1 to the 1985 Order is amended by inserting at the appropriate place on the list of sports grounds specified there (which is in alphabetical order) the following name:–

Excelsior Stadium, Airdrie.

Section 4

Part I of Schedule 2 to the 1985 Order is amended by inserting after paragraph 1 the following new paragraph:–

(1A) Association football matches in the Scottish Premier League.
